Commissioner McLeod established that a quorum was present and called the meeting to order at 16:00. The meeting was held at Station 1, located at 26109 Ridge Avenue, Ocean Park, WA 98640.  Attendance at the meeting included:

Consent Agenda

Minutes of Regular Commissioners Meeting held on August 16th, 2016

  1. August 25th, 2016 4th Week Expenses, for a total of $4,588.57
  2. September 20th, 2016 Expenses for a total of $197,208.19, not including Jack’s Country Store expenses
    1. Accounts Payable: $26,656.84
    2. Payroll: $170,551.35

Commissioner Hill made a motion to approve the consent agenda and to excuse Commissioner Downer, seconded by Commissioner McLeod. Motion carried.

Jack’s Country Store

  1. September 20th, 2016 Expenses for a total of $303.91: Needs Approval

Commissioner McLeod made a motion to approve the Jack’s Country Store expenses in the amount of $303.91, seconded by Commissioner Hill. Motion carried.


Commissioner McLeod called for an Executive Session at 16:02 for Pension and Relief Board meeting. Regular session resumed at 16:03.

  1. Washington EMS Information Systems (WEMSIS)

Chief Weatherby explained that he spoke with Sheryl Brant from Enduris regarding uploading our medical data to WEMSIS. She said there is no liability to the District. When Dr. Hill was asked his opinion, he asked why we haven’t been using it previously; it is a tool that can be used to monitor our medical actions more closely. Other agencies cannot see our actual data. They can only compare their data to the data percentages of different regions. We are currently reporting the same data when we export to NFIRS and NEMSIS.
